THP Driver's Education Camp

July 16 – 18, 2019, the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security will host its second annual Teen Driver Education Camp for high school students ages 15 – 18 in Tennessee. The camp will be held at the Tennessee Highway Patrol Training Center in Nashville, Tennessee. 
 
Participating teens will be required to complete two days of educational training, which is comprised of AAA’s How to Drive curriculum, a mock crash demonstration, traffic safety presentations, driving simulators, group activities, indoor/outdoor events, and more. On Thursday, July 18, teens will attend graduation and receive a certificate of completion. The camp schedule will be provided in advance of the event.
 
Teens interested in attending must complete the registration form below. Space is limited; therefore, registrants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will close once 75 students have applied; however, additional students will be placed on a waiting list to be accepted into the program in the event that prior registrants drop out.
 
NOTE: If you complete registration but decide you are unable to attend, please immediately notify the camp administrator at teencamp@reducetncrashes.com, so another student can attend in your place.
